Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1808550A1] The roof has a vertically aligned ridge end support (1) at a front side of a roof ridge, and a curtain walling panel (3) fixed with one end on one side of the support. The panel is parallel to a gable side roof edge (4) and is fixed with another end in a vertical support (5). A metal ridge profile (7) is fixed at rafters (6), in the end region of the roof ridge parallel to the ridge and below ridge bricks. A base profile is detachably fixed at the ridge profile and is aligned right angle to the ridge end support and connected with the end support. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for construction of a saddle roof with a gable protection (2) a method for multiple utilization of a saddle roof with a gable protection.
