The device has a programming connection provided for connecting the device to a programming device, where the connection is a programming socket. An electrical pushbutton module (8) for controlling the hearing device is integrated into the covering. The module has an operating unit (10) that is supported at the covering in a pivotable manner, and the covering has an insertion opening.

Hörvorrichtungen und insbesondere Hörgeräte sollen kleiner gestaltet werden. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, in die Abdeckung zum Abdecken eines Programmieranschlusses der Hörvorrichtung eine elektrische Bedieneinrichtung zum Steuern der Hörvorrichtung zu integrieren. Durch diese Mehrfachfunktionalität der Abdeckung (1) lässt sich Bauraum einsparen. Insbesondere ist es günstig, wenn ein Betätigungselement (10) eines elektrischen Tasters (8) an dem gleichen Bolzen (2) gelagert ist, an dem auch die Abdeckung (1) selbst gelagert ist.
