[origin: WO2006050849A2] An advertising display case, provided with a frame-type housing, at least one advertising surface formed on a light-transparent carrier and at least one light source which his arranged inside the housing and which is used to illuminate the advertising surface on the rear side thereof. Reflectors are arranged inside the housing, enabling outgoing light from the light source to be directed onto the rear side of the advertising surface. At least one of the reflectors is embodied essentially in a strip-like manner, forming a peripheral frame, in order to provide an evenly illuminated advertising surface in a simple, low-cost manner, wherein the light source is arranged inside the frame. The reflectors forming the frame are provided with convex reflector surfaces on the side pointing towards the center of the frame.
