[origin: EP1810784A2] The unit is assembled of a jaw element (131) to be joined to the top of a workbench (135) and a clamping lever swivel mounted laterally to the front of the jaw (137) to be moved towards the telescopic leg positioned between them. The lever is fitted with a swivel mounted adjusting nut accommodating the pulling spindle. The opposite end of the spindle is provided with an interlocking member serving as an abutment. The jaw (131) has a v-shaped recess (141) for the accommodation of the leg and an opening (132) for a guide bar (86).
