[origin: EP1810805A1] The method involves discharging grit from a grit bin into a discharge tray with a discharging device. The grit arrives from the grit bin to an intermediate conveying device after discharging, where the conveying device conveys the grit as grit mat (7) from a feeding area (8). The intermediate conveying device has conveying rollers (5) that are arranged one after another and parallel to each other. The conveying device delivers the mat to an endless conveyor belt (6) after equalization and homogenization of the mat. An independent claim is also included for a form station for forming a grit mat.
