Abstract (en)
The controlled thread brake has a brake band (3) and a brake body (2). The thread brake (1) has an electromagnet (6, 6') and a rotatable or rocking lever (4) which can be moved by the electromagnet and which is operationally connected to the brake band in order to exert a pulling force in the longitudinal direction of the brake band and to place it against the brake body for braking a weft thread. An independent claim is included for a weaving machine.

Es wird eine gesteuerte Fadenbremse zum Bremsen eines Schussfadens (10) in einer Webmaschine vorgestellt mit einem Bremsband (3) und einem Bremskörper (2), wobei die Fadenbremse (1) zusätzlich einen Elektromagneten (6) umfasst und einen dreh- oder kippbaren Hebel (4), der mittels des Elektromagneten bewegt werden kann. Der Hebel (4) ist mit dem Bremsband (3) verbunden, so dass mittels des Elektromagneten (6) ein Zug in Längsrichtung des Bremsbandes ausgeübt werden kann, um dasselbe zum Bremsen des Schussfadens gegen den Bremskörper (2) zu drücken.
