The sump has a drain device (10) that is adjustable between a closing position and an opening position and is inserted into a drain opening (13) in an outer wall (3) of the sump. The drain device has an adjustable valve body (11), and a sealing unit (12) is arranged at the valve body. The drain opening is closed in the closing position of the drain device. The valve body is fixed in the closing position by a closing unit at the wall of the sump, and the sealing unit is held in the closing position by the closing unit.

Eine Ölwanne ist mit einer in eine Ablassöffnung (13) in der Wandung der Ölwanne eingebrachten, zwischen einer Schließposition und einer Öffnungsposition verstellbaren Ablasseinrichtung (10) versehen, die einen verstellbaren Ventilkörper (11) umfasst. An dem Ventilkörper (11) der Ablasseinrichtung (10) ist ein Dichtelement (12) aus nachgiebigem Material angeordnet, das in Schließposition die Ablassöffnung (13) in der Wandung der Ölwanne (1) verschließt, wobei der Ventilkörper (11) in Schließposition mittels eines Schließelements an der Wandung der Ölwanne (1) fixiert ist und das Dichtelement (12) von dem Schließelement in der Schließposition gehalten ist.
