Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1811462A2] The machine has printing module (10) e.g. print head with ink jet, for printing mail items, and a bag or supplying plate (12) for supplying the mail items to the printing module. The plate includes a dual slant for bringing the mail items against a jogging retractable flap (20) by gravity in a printing position at which the printing module affixes a post-marking. The flap is movable and is retracted after the printing for permitting, under the effect of the gravity, an automatic descend of the items in a mail item receiving bag.
