[origin: WO2006053361A1] The invention relates to a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (1), which essentially comprises a discharge vessel (3), whose interior is coated with a fluorescent material (2) and which contains a filler gas component that emits UV light, two or more hollow cathodes (4) consisting of a material from the group containing Mo, W, Nb, Ta and their alloys and two or more current feed pins (5) consisting of a material from the group containing Mo, W and their alloys.
