[origin: EP1813322A1] Ski binding comprises a binding plate (6) supported with a crossbar (22) on the front side and with a stopping catch (23) on a protruding support stop on the rear side of a rear locking holder (4) formed as a support head (5). A rear locking body (8) of the binding plate arranged on the front side of the support head slides in the longitudinal direction of the binding plate against the force of a locking spring (26) and has a wedge surface (33) for interacting with a shoulder (32) of the support head. The crossbar has a slide stop for the rear locking body impinged by the locking spring. Preferred Features: The binding plate has a slide guide (35) for the rear locking body with a guide section for swinging out the locking body head forming the wedge surface.
