Abstract (en)
The board (1) has an upper main side (3), which is to be aligned outwardly during sheeting, and a lower main side (2) that is to be aligned inwardly during sheeting. Borates (4) are provided in a surface concentration of not less than 1 and not more than 25 grams per meter square. The borates are concentrated in the region of the inwardly aligned main side of the wood fiber board and are present at and behind the surface of the board at the inwardly aligned side. A marking such as color marking is provided on inwardly aligned main side during the roof and wall construction. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a wood fiber board for roof and wall construction.

Bei der Herstellung einer Holzfaserplatte (1) für den Dach- und Wandbau mit einer beim Verbau nach außen auszurichtenden Hauptseite (2) und mit einer beim Verbau nach innen auszurichtenden Hauptseite (3) wird ein Faserkuchen (6) aus mit Bindemittel beleimten Lignocellulose-haltigen Fasern heiß verpresst. Zur Ausbildung eines Schimmelschutzes werden Borate (4) in einer Flächenkonzentration von nicht weniger als 1 und nicht mehr als 25 g/m 2 auf eine Hauptseite des Faserkuchens (6) oder der Holzfaserplatte (1) aufgebracht, die die beim Verbau nach innen auszurichtende Hauptseite (2) der Holzfaserplatte (1) ausbildet.
