[origin: EP1813740A1] The shelter has wired connection units (3, 4) for maintaining in position a rigid roof element (2) with respect to a vertical post (1). The roof element is supported on a periphery of the post in a support zone (5) remote from ends of the post. The unit (3) connects peripheral zones of the roof element to an upper zone (6) of the post located above the support zone, and the unit (4) connects the peripheral zones to a lower zone (7) of the post located below the support zone, where the units are constituted of twisted steel cable ends.
