Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1813759A1] The mechanism to move a sliding and swing door, at a motor vehicle, has a drive motor (36) in the door with a flexible cable transmission (40) to the swing arm (12) at the door. When the motor is activated, the swing arm gives the door a sliding movement until striking a block when the arm gives the door a swing movement. The end (16) of the swing arm away from the door is mounted to the vehicle chassis. The end of the swing arm towards the door is attached to a roller trolley (28) at the door, with a sliding movement (31).
