Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1813761A2] The window frame (1) is assembled of two vertical and two horizontal profiles (12) joined at the corners. The appropriate edges of the profiles are connected by engaging complementary stepped recesses and elevations. A labyrinth sealing unit is formed simultaneously. A cover (2) is clipped to the front of the frame (1) with joint elements (3), each provided with an elastic segment (8) and a projection to be inserted into a matching space (4) at the frame (1). The elastic segment (8) can be pressed for removing the cover element (2). Independent claims are given for the joint element and for the front cover.
