Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1813904A1] The device has a cam (1) for driving and displacing a striker (4) in translation till a cocked position and for compression of a spring (5). A trigger (8) blocks the striker in the cocked position, and is supported by a cylinder head of a weapon. The trigger assures a striker blocking position and a striker release position, and is displaceable by an actuator (6) for releasing the striker. An independent claim is also included for a method of igniting ammunition implementing a percussion device.
