Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006054934A1] This invention has reference to a carrying device, that for example can be used to carry children over 1 year. The carrying device will distribute the weight and forces of the load carried, and almost completely free both hands of the carrier for other use. The construction distributes the forces involved and provides a good ergonomy. Distinguishing aspects are that the carrying device will work both under and over exterior clothing, and that it will fit into a belt bag the size of a pair of ski glasses when not in use. The carrying device consists of two parts: a closed shoulder loop (1) that will enclose either shoulder of the carrier. The shoulder loop is joined in one end (2) with a carrier bag (3). The carrier bag consists of a closed looped strap with a piece of material (4) that will distribute the shape and weight of the carried object. The carrier bag shall have at least one adjustable buckle to adapt to different sizes of carriers. The free end of the carrier bag has a buckle (6) that is designed to work together with a corresponding locking device (7) in the other end of the shoulder loop (8), and that can be opened and closed with a one hand operation.
