Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006045694A1] The invention relates to a modular refrigerator, comprising a first planar thermally-insulated element (6), a second planar thermally-insulated element (4) and further planar thermally-insulated elements (2, 3, 5), connected together and which can be subsequently detached, forming a housing (G) of the refrigerator (1) when assembled, a refrigerant circuit, with an evaporator (8), a condenser (9) and a compressor (10), a first electrical line (32), arranged in the first planar element (6), a second electrical line, arranged in the second planar thermally-insulated element (4) and an electrical contact/counter-contact device (34a, 34b), by means of which both electrical lines (30, 32) may be electrically connected. The contact device (34b) is integrated in the first planar thermally-insulated element (6) and the counter-contact device (34a) is integrated in the second planar thermally-insulated element (4) such that contact device (34b) is automatically electrically connected to the electrical counter-contact (34a) during the mechanical connection of the first and second planar element (4, 6).
