[origin: EP1815906A1] The mixer (1) with a fixed drum (2) for materials to be mixed, such as cement and sand, has a mixing assembly (3) driven by a motor and reduction gear (23) and comprising a rotary shaft (9) and at least one arm (4) with mixing blades (5). It differs by having a sealed cover inside the drum (13) to protect the end of the shaft (9) and its hub (10). The drum is also equipped with a series of fixed nozzles (70) for spraying a liquid under pressure to clean the mixing assembly, including the shaft end cover (13) as it is rotated. The hub (10) is in the form of a tube (40) with a shoulder (41) at one end for fixing to the inner wall of the drum, and an interior containing bearings (42) to guide the rotary shaft.
