[origin: EP1815916A2] An immersion plant has a lifting device (5) operating a lifting table (7) for the workpieces, which moves up and down during cleaning. There is a baffle plate (10) under the lifting table, which during treatment, is moved up and down in a sector of the immersion bath with little side play, so that the cleaning fluid is expelled during the down stroke, creating turbulence which acts on the workpieces.
