The rotary body (1), e.g. a rubber cylinder, has a boring (2) containing an input line (3), passing through an intermediate cavity (4) between two spacers (7) with through-flow regions (6). A fluid flows through this line into the cylinder to temper it, and then back in the opposite direction, passing through or bypassing a tempering device (9).
