[origin: EP1816075A1] The packaging material is transported as a sheet of material carried on a conveyor chain which includes e.g. rollers or sliders (15) running in guide rails (13, 14). The outside of the guidance system is kept open at least locally, so that the upper and lower guide rails are accessible for cleaning. The guide rails are fastened to a holding profile (18) with clearance. A number of stand-off fasteners (17) which are spaced apart, hold the guide rails. This makes the spaces between fastening components accessible.
