[origin: EP1816265A1] The sweeping machine (1) has a chassis (4) for operating by hand, which comprises a handlebar (3), at which a defined run and support wheels are provided to a respective transverse axis (8,9) for the longitudinal medium plane of the sweeping machine. The chassis has a sweeping roller (11), is applied on the sweeping surface, forms a functional component moving automatically by the rotary motion and the functional component is guided by the handlebar of the hand in a predetermined direction of travel.
