[origin: EP1816343A1] A Pre-treatment assembly for pre-treating a compensation device (30) having a variable length (L) comprises an assembly body, a pressure transferring body (84), an actor (90), and a heating device (56). The assembly body comprises a guidance (58) and a positive stop (60). The pressure transferring body (84) is coupled to the guidance (58) movable towards the positive stop (60). The actor (90) is coupled to the pressure transferring body (84). The pressure transferring body (84), the heating device (56), and the positive stop (60) are formed and arranged in such a way that in a given state of the pre-treatment assembly the compensation device (30) is thermally coupled to the heating device (56) while the actor (90) presses the compensation device (30) via the pressure transferring body (84) against the positive stop (60) in such a way that the length (L) of the compensation device (30) decreases.
