[origin: EP1816404A2] The present invention relates to an indoor unit of an air conditioner for minimizing a resistance to air being discharged, and preventing electric cable from being exposed. For this, the indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a cabinet (10), and an outlet unit (40) mounted to the cabinet for guiding air being discharged from an inside, wherein the outlet unit (40) includes a body (42) mounted to the cabinet, the body having an air outlet (41), a vane (44) mounted to the body (42) for opening/closing the air outlet (41), and a safety net (46) detachably mounted to the air outlet of the body (42).
