[origin: WO2006056323A1] The invention relates to a gravure printing unit (4), comprising a printing cylinder (1), to which (1) at least one ink doctor blade (26) is applied, with an ink stripping surface (16) in contact with the circumferential surface of the printing cylinder, at least in partial regions of the printing cylinder (1). The radius of curvature of the ink stripping surface (16) may be matched to the radius of curvature of the printing cylinder (1), at least over partial regions of the extension thereof in the circumferential direction (f) of the printing cylinder (1), in a novel and inventive manner. A method for exchange of printing cylinders (1) is also disclosed.
