[origin: WO2006059033A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a balance weight for a vehicle wheel and to the thus obtained weight consisting of an injection- moulded weight (2) made of a zinc alloy and fixable to a wheel rim by means of a clip (3), wherein the inventive method consists in producing a cavity (4) in the thickness of the weight (2) for receiving the part (5) of said clip (3), in arranging said cavity (4) in such a way that it makes it possible to place and retain said introducible part of the clip (3) and in introducing and fixing the above therein.
