Abstract (en)
The manufacturing process involves starting with a plate (1) and deforming it. At least one process groove is made close to at least one edge to form a material reserve. The plate is then deformed in a press tool (8) into the component (9). The groove material is leveled out, moving material towards the outer edge. The end is pressed against a support (19, 20) in the press too, deforming it into a recess (21, 22) to form a bulge (23, 24) at the edge.

Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Struktur- oder Fahrwerkbauteils (9) für Kraftfahrzeuge wird eine Platine (1) in einem Pressenwerkzeug umgeformt. In der Platine (1) wird zumindest an einem Rand (2,3) mit Abstand von der Außenkante (4,5) der Platine (1) eine Materialbevorratung (6,7) ausgeformt. Die Materialbevorratung (6,7) dient beim Umformvorgang als Materialreserve. Anschließend wird die Platine (1) im Pressenwerkzeug (8) zum Struktur- oder Fahrwerkbauteil (9) umgeformt. Hierbei wird die Materialbevorratung (6,7) im Pressenwerkzeug (8) unter Materialverdrängung in Richtung zur Außenkante (4,5) eingeebnet und der Rand (2,3) gegen ein Widerlager (19,20) im Pressenwerkzeug (8) gedrückt, wodurch der Rand (2,3) in eine Ausnehmung (21,22) im Pressenwerkzeug (8) umgeformt wird, so dass am Rand (2,3) ein Wulst (23,24) entsteht.
