[origin: EP1818300A1] The device has a blade cylinder e.g. transverse-fold cylinder formed as folding blade cylinder. The later transverse-fold cylinder (12) is adjusted by an adjusting device (18) so that transverse-fold cylinder is transferred from an operating position, in which the cylinder is driven from the folding flap cylinder (11), into resting position or from the resting position into the operating position. A drive wheel (17) mounted on a shaft (16) of the later transverse-fold cylinder is in contact with the drive wheel (15) mounted on the shaft of the folding flap cylinder in the resting position.
