The article has a first leaf portion (12) and a second leaf portion (14) connected to one another by a flexible spine portion (16). The leaf portions (12, 14) each comprise an injection moulded planar core (18) of plastics material having an outer layer of material (24, 26) integrated on at least one side (20, 22) thereof, wherein said at least one outer layer of material (24, 26) includes an electronic device (28).
