[origin: WO2006056765A1] An underwater vehicle having at least one thruster (12) that is pivotally mounted on the vehicle. Preferred embodiments comprise a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) with a thruster (12) in each of four corners. Each thruster may be pivoted du ring use in order to direct the thrust in the optimum direction to move the ROV in the desired direction. Embodiments of the present invention are more efficient than conventional ROVs which utilise fixed thrusters.
