Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2878552A1] The device has a closure unit (4) incorporating a mobile semi-cylinder to provide access into a drinking water tank (2). The unit (4) extends in the extension of an access well (23) until it reaches beneath a roof (3) covering the tank, so that the interior of the tank is isolated from the well and a roof hatch (30). The well passes through the tank base and rises along the tank to a certain height beneath the roof. An independent claim is also included for a water tower including a safety device.
