Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1820640A1] The method involves embossing a structure and a relief (5) in the upper side (2) of the structural panel (1) and applying a decoration (3) on the embossed side of the panel. The decoration is sealed by coating an abrasion-resistant layer (4) on the decoration. A polyurethane or a powder coating is applied as abrasion-resistant layer. The upper, lower and opposite side edges of panel are embossed, particularly of a timber material, plastic or a mixture from timber material and plastic. The structural panel is heated before embossing on a temperature of 40 to 150 degree celsius.
