Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1820650A2] A method involves storing a torsion model in the machine computer to describe a torsion state of the cylinders (9,10,13,14) in the printing press (1) as a power requirement of drive motor (16) or a printing speed of the printing press known to the machine computer. The printing press is controlled via the machine controller's (20) computer on a basis of values calculated by the torsion model. An independent claim is included for a printing press.
