Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1820766A1] The method involves dismantling a door actuator with a crank drive and drive linkages. A door drive (16) is installed with a linearly moving drive unit (16.4), which is coupled with a car door panel (5) of a car door system. An operating device (17) is installed for operating a car door coupler (8). The car door system comprises the door actuator with the crank drive and the car door panel, which switch the drive linkages. The car door coupler operated by the drive linkages. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a modernization component for modernization of an elevator door system of an elevator car (2) an elevator car with an elevator door system, which is modernized.
