[origin: EP1820960A2] The valve (1) has a piezoelectric actuator (2) arranged in a valve housing. A valve closing body (15) is actuated by the actuator using a valve needle. Insulation (37) is provided for electrically insulating and enclosing the actuator and designed as a thermally conducting insulation. The insulation has supporting units (38, 39) which extend with respect to an axis (45) of the valve housing in an axial direction. The supporting units support the actuator (2) in a radial direction against an inner wall (49) of the valve housing.
