Abstract (en)

The frame is shaped in the form of a hollowed-out box whose large faces (2,2'), intended to be traversed by an airflow (A) conveyed by a ventilating, heating or air-conditioning unit, are held at a distance from each other in order to create a heating-element receiving space between them. The frame is made of a single part in which retainers (15) for holding heating elements (3) e.g. positive temperature coefficient (PTC) resistors inside the space are located in the area of the large faces. An independent claim is also included for an electric-heater assembling method.

La présente invention a pour objet un châssis (1) de réception d'un élément chauffant (3) pour un radiateur électrique d'une installation de ventilation, de chauffage et/ou de climatisation, d'un véhicule notamment. Ce châssis (1) est conformé en cadre évidé dont les grandes faces (2,2') destinées à être traversées par le flux d'air A véhiculé par l'installation sont maintenues à distance l'une de l'autre pour ménager entre elle un volume (12) de réception de l'élément chauffant (3). Le châssis (1) est formé d'une pièce unitaire dans laquelle des moyens de retenue (15) de l'élément chauffant (3) à l'intérieur dudit volume (12) sont ménagés dans la zone des dites grandes faces (2,2').
