Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006058952A1] The invention relates to a multi-layered heat-sealable material for structures closed by sealing and capable of being opened from the sealing point (7) by pulling free, such as for heat-sealed product packages (1). In addition, the invention relates to packages comprised of the material in question. In particular are considered lids (5) of cups and package boxes (4) which can be pulled free as well as package bags formed by sealing the material against itself. The material is comprised of a base layer (8) of paper or cardboard, a polymeric support layer (9) functioning for example as an air lock, and an outer polymer-based heat-sealing layer (10), in which according to the invention is mixed polystyrene, acrylate copolymer, and a fine inorganic substance such as for example talcum. A material according to the invention is sealable in a peelable manner to for example polyethylene, polyester or polystyrene.
