Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006061235A1] The invention relates to a winding machine which is used to wind continuously supplied threads. The winding machine winds a plurality of threads (1) onto spools (6) which are secured to the spool spindle (7.1, 7.2). The threads (1) are displaced back-and-forth by a changing device (4.1) in a changing thread feeder (4.2). The spool spindle (7.1, 7.2) is supported by a rotating plate (8) which is also rotated when the spool diameter increases. The increase in the diameter of the spool diameter is detected by a press roll (5) which is mounted in a displaceable manner such that an alternative displacement can take place when the diameter increases. Said alternative displacement is detected and the rotating plate (8) is rotated again by means of a control device (18).The alternative displacement of the press roll (5) takes place by means of a slot (15) or a link (10). The displacement vectors (13.1) of the alternative displacement and the thread path form a small angle. As a result of the alternative displacement, the thread (1) does not undergo any lateral displacement. The friction-ratio remains constant in the back-and-forth changing thread feeder (4.2).
