Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006063677A1] The invention relates to a shifting device (1) comprising a central shifting shaft (6) which is arranged in a manual gearbox of a motor vehicle. Two oscillating arms (7, 8) which support a cylinder (10) and an axis (9) are fixed to said shifting shaft (6) and the cylinder (10) is in contact with a pivotably mounted, spring-loaded contour element (2). According to the invention, the contour element (2) comprises a sliding guide which extends in the region of a circular arc k which is concentric in relation to the shifting shaft (6) and the oscillating arms (7, 8) comprise sliding points (19) which are arranged in a parallel manner in relation to the shifting shaft (6) and are arranged on the radius R of the circular arc k and the sliding points (19) can be placed in contact with the sliding guide by an axially oriented movement of the shifting shaft (6).
