[origin: WO2006063371A2] The invention relates to a cold cathode fluorescent lamp which contains, essentially, a discharge vessel which is coated with an illuminating material on the inner side thereof and which contains a filling gas component which emits a UV light, two or more hollow cathodes made of a material from the groups Mo, W, Nb, Ta and the alloys thereof, two or more current lead-through points made of one material from the group Mo, W and the alloys thereof. The current lead-through point is joined to a ring, a ring segment, a hollow cylinder or a hollow cylinder segment, preferably made of Fe, Ni, Co or the alloys thereof and the ring, the ring segment, the hollow cylinder or the hollow cylinder segment is connected to the hollow cathode.
