A paper mill has a headbox (19) discharging a fiber suspension to a sieve (20) and press (21) followed by a drying station (22). The drying station has a hood surrounded by a cylinder through which hot air and/or steam are introduced. The hood has an inlet pipe fitting and an outlet pipe fitting. The press section (21) has a steam blower box (29) with steam cells arranged transverse to the direction of web travel. Each steam cell has a discrete steam inlet and outlet. The drying station has a jet moistener (33) whose jets are arranged transverse to the web direction of travel.

Eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer Faserstoffbahn (2, 23) mit einem Stoffauflauf (19), einer Siebpartie (20), einer Pressenpartie (21) und einer Trockenpartie (22), wobei die Trockenpartie (22) wenigstens einen beheizten und von einer Blashaube umgebenen Zylinder (3; 17, 18) umfasst, durch die Heißluft und/oder Wasserdampf als Medium zuführbar ist, wobei die Blashaube (4; 30, 31) mindestens einen Anschluss (14) für die Zu- und/oder Abführung des Mediums aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Pressenpartie (21) ein Dampfblaskasten (29) mit quer zur Bahnlaufrichtung nebeneinanderliegenden Elementen oder Zellen angeordnet ist, durch den die Faserstoffbahn (2, 23) mit Wasserdampf benetzbar ist.
