[origin: EP1826354A2] The mounting for a window ledge or door sill has a base profile (1) with a downward side to fasten at least one border (8) and/or expansion unit. A strap (10) is at a gap under the profile and along it, with at least one groove (12) for the mounting flange (15) of the border to be pushed into place.
