[origin: EP1826375A1] Switching valve (1) comprises a pipe section (2) for inserting into a gas line and an adjusting drive (3) for adjusting a flap about a rotary axis (13) running across the flow direction within the pipe section. A throttle sealing gap (17) is formed radially between a flap edge (16) and a sealing surface (14) facing the flap. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a switching valve. Preferred Features: A sealing body (15) with a planar axial front side lies on the pipe section. The adjusting drive has a housing (8) with a part integrated with the pipe section.
