Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1826385A1] The method involves injecting fuel into combustion chambers (331-334) of an internal combustion engine (310) by controllable injectors (321-324). A pressure sensor (305) provides a pressure signal which characterizes pressure in an accumulator (300). Control duration of the injectors is kept constant in case of malfunction of the pressure sensor, and a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is regulated to a constant value by a control variable of a dosing unit (200).
