[origin: WO2006061044A1] The invention relates to a floor cleaning device (10) comprising a housing (11) which is provided with a cleaning opening (36) which is arranged on the lower side thereof and an exchangeable cleaning roller (15) which is rotationally mounted in the housing (11) adjacent to the cleaning opening (36) and which is detachably connected to a rotationally driven driver (40) on a first front side (73) and can be brought into contact with the driver by means of the longitudinal axis (86) which is directed in a diagonal manner on the rotational axis (93) of the driver (40) and can be directed in a collinear manner on the rotational axis (83) of the driver (40). The aim of the invention is to further develop said floor cleaning device such that the cleaning roller (15) can be exchanged in a simple manner. According to the invention, the driver (40) and the cleaning roller (15) comprise linear-shaped gliding surfaces (55, 79) which are arranged on top of each other and which glide along each other when the cleaning roller (15) is exchanged.
