Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006053996A1] The invention concerns a method for feeding lubricant during a hot rolling process, which consists in feeding the surfaces of the working rolls with a lubricating emulsion. The invention is characterized in that said lubrication emulsion, consisting of a lubricating oil having a viscosity ranging between 10 cSt and 400 cSt at 40 °C mixed with water, is conveyed towards the surfaces of the working rolls through at least one lubricant-feeding nozzle, at a temperature ranging between 0 °C and 25 °C.
