[origin: WO2006042637A2] The invention relates to a printing plate cylinder (1) used to equip a printing machine, comprising the following elements (2,3): a cylinder core (3) which is rotationally mounted in the printing machine and a sleeve (2) which can be at least partially drawn over the cylinder core (3). The angular position of the two elements (2,3) in relation to each other can be adjusted with the following means: a male register element (6,10,11) which is coupled to one of the two elements (2,3) to be adjusted, a female register element (7) which is a component of the other respective element that is to be adjusted. The two above-mentioned register elements actively cooperate with each other when the elements (2,3) that are to be adjusted are located in the set-point position thereof. At least one of the two register elements (6,10,11) is moveably coupled to the respective element (2,3) to be adjusted.
