[origin: WO2006024793A2] The invention concerns a writing instrument comprising a shaft, a cartridge arranged inside the shaft, a cartridge holder linked to the shaft and against which the rear end of the cartridge is pressed. The writing instrument is characterized in that the cartridge holder comprises a base extending in a plane substantially transverse to the longitudinal axis and at least three studs extending globally along the longitudinal axis from the base forward, each of said stud having a rear surface facing the longitudinal axis which forms an acute angle with the portion of the longitudinal axis extending towards the front end from the base, and between which is wedged the cartridge.
