Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006067185A1] The invention relates to a device for fixing a contact wire of an overhead line catenary. At least one pair of rolls consisting of a first roll and a second roll is provided on a base body, said first and second rolls being arranged on opposing sides of the determined position of the contact wire with parallel axes in order to receive the contact wire between the running surfaces of the two rolls. The at least one second roll can be displaced in the direction of the determined position of the contact wire by means of a displacement device, and fixed. According to the invention, a gripping device is arranged on the base body, the grippers thereof being arranged opposite each other in order to grip the contact wire on both sides in two longitudinal channels. The dependence of the application force of the rolls and of the resistance of the contact wire corresponds to the formula Kn = (Sn . f): (L . B . A) where Kn represents between 29 and 33 for a first pair of rolls, between 21 and 25 for a second pair of rolls, and between 14 and 17 for a third pair of rolls.
