[origin: WO2006072330A1] The invention relates to a hinge for doors, windows or the like for fastening to a leaf profile or frame profile (6), which has a profile groove (7) with: an undercut surface (10, 11); a leaf hinge part; a frame hinge part (1), at least one of these leaf or frame hinge parts having a fastening part (2) with a contact surface (4) for resting against an outer surface (5) of the profile (6); an anchoring plate (13) with a clamping surface (12) for resting against the undercut surface (10) of the profile groove (8), and; at least one clamping screw (14), which passes through a hole in the fastening part (2) and can be screwed into a threaded hole in the anchoring plate (13) in order to press the clamping surface (12) against the undercut surface (10) of the profile groove (7) for obtaining a press fit of the hinge. Means are provided with which, after obtaining the press fit, a positive fit of the fastening part (2) with the profile (6) can be effected.
